How does one become a chiropractor?
Chiropractors graduate from full-time university courses of 5 or 6 years, all of which are recognised by the Chiropractic Council of Education, a worldwide organisation setting standards for the profession's education. Chiropractors serve at least one year of guided apprentice in university-based clinics followed by experienced tutors.
Can you study Chiropractic in Italy?
At present in Italy chiropractic courses are not available. Even though two laws have been voted to protect our profession, a clear and efficient legislation to define the legitimate chiropractor is still missing.
This is why Matteo and Alessandro are members of the Italian Chiropractic Association, which counts only chiropractors holding recognised university degrees, as required by the profession standards.
